This is a portuguese stamp from a edition consecrated to theater personalities. This stamp figures Laura Alves (1921-1986), a known actress from theater and cinema.
She was very beautiful, as you can see in these pictures:

I like stamps in black and white. Thanks also for sharing the pictures; you're right: she's very beautiful!
ResponderEliminarShe is very beautiful, but I think the stamp looks too sad.
ResponderEliminarYes, but I am pretty sure this is a picture taken during a play :)
EliminarThe stamp does look sad, though I thought at first, from checking out youtube, that maybe she was a comedy actress? It was entertaining, even if I couldn't understand any of the Portuguese!
ResponderEliminarA great sense of the dramatic in the stamp.
ResponderEliminarThank you for joining us this week!
ResponderEliminarIt must have been a theater scene, and shows her emotion in a great way - but I would have prefered a stamp showing her laughing or looking-up face on the two next pictures. Great stamp and pictures anyway - thank you for posting!
ResponderEliminarI'm glad you included the other pictures with the stamp. Now I can understand why the stamp looks mournful at first sight.
ResponderEliminarWhat an expressive, and beautiful, face. Nice that the stamp shows her in a theatre performance.
