Sunday Stamps #06

Hi you all! Today is day of women on stamps and I have a nice one to share :)

This is a portuguese stamp from a edition consecrated to theater personalities. This stamp figures Laura Alves (1921-1986), a known actress from theater and cinema.

She was very beautiful, as you can see in these pictures:

This card was sent from Veles, in Macedonia. The sender, Laura, was living there at that time and she told me in the card that one of the things she loved most in Velles was the old gates and houses with old door-nouncers. I loved them too!
