Hi! I couldn't find much information on this girl in english but it seems that there is a book with her adventures. The author of the book is Annie Schmidt and the illustrator is Fiep Westendorp. Theu are very famous in the Netherlands.  I liked her, she looks sweet and proud with her medal :)

Bridges

Hello! Today I bring you one more round robin. This one is made between portuguese speakers and the theme was bridges. First one is the bridge "25 de Abril" that links Lisbon - our capital - to Almada, a beautiful city surrounded by the Tagus river and the Atlantic Ocean. This bridge is similar to the Golden Gate Bridge in S. Francisco.

This one is the bridge over the Mondego river, in Coimbra:

The last one is the roman bridge of Redinha, a village near Pombal, in the center of Portugal. It is the oldest one and probably the most beautiful! Today the road still crosses the bridge as in the roman era:

Hi! This lovely illustration is the interpretation of Rapunzel, the fairy tale of Grimm Brothers made by Daniela Drescher, and it came from Germany. When it came to Portugal, the card was sent to the wrong post office and they put a postmark in the front of the card :(

Good Afternoon! This postcard was sent from Germany and has the Holsby Chapel that is in Holsbybrunn, Smaland. It was built in 1924 and is used today as a lecture hall by Torchbearers Sweden. The stamps are beautiful carnations:

Hello! Today the theme is water scenes: this cards were sent through All about your country round robin and are amazing, don't you agree? First one came from Japan, I don't know what city it is:

This one came from China and shows a bridge and a river in the old village of Honcun. The village is arranged in the shape of an ox with the nearby hill (Leigang Hill) interpreted as the head, and two trees standing on it as the horns. Together with Xidi (other village), the village became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000

This one came from Russia and shows the Altai Mountains and the seven lakes. The Altai Mountains (Altay Mountains) are a mountain range in East-Central Asia, where Russia, China, Mongolia and Kazakhstan come together. A vast area of 16,178 km²—Altai and Katun Natural Reserves, Lake Teletskoye, Mount Belukha and the Ukok Plateau—comprise a natural UNESCO World Heritage Site entitled Golden Mountains of Altai

Hello! This lovely card came from Lithuania (the sender and I have both the same name!) and shows the steps of the constrution of Eiffel Tower. It is the most important symbol of Paris, I think. You can find more information on aunt Wiki :)
